SP Movie Database (com_spmoviedb) <= 1.3 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection
SP Movie Database 1.3 and earlier concatenate the searchword request parameter straight into a SQL query with no escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can read arbitrary data from the Joomla database, including the user table and its password hashes, with a single crafted GET request. No fix was published for the 1.x line. Update to a current SP Movie Database release, or uninstall the component if it is no longer used.
