Zap Calendar (com_zcalendar) <= 4.3.4 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection

Zap Calendar Lite 4.3.4 and earlier concatenate the eid request parameter straight into a SQL query with no escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can read arbitrary data from the Joomla database, including the user table and its password hashes, with a single crafted GET request. No fix was published for the 4.3.x line. Update to a current Zap Calendar release, or uninstall the component if it is no longer used.

Affected versions: ≤ 4.3.4

Official record: cve.org · NVD

Every connected Joomla site is checked against this rule on each audit, and flagged if it runs an affected version.
