CVE-2017-20278

JoomRecipe (com_joomrecipe) <= 1.0.4 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection

JoomRecipe 1.0.4 and earlier are affected by two SQL injection flaws. CVE-2017-20278 concatenates the category parameter into a query unescaped; CVE-2017-20277 is a blind injection through the search_author parameter on the search results page, reachable by POST. Neither requires an account. Both allow arbitrary reads from the Joomla database, including the user table and its password hashes. No fix was published for the 1.0.x line. Update to a current JoomRecipe release, or uninstall the component if it is no longer used.
