CVE-2026-60032

JMedia (com_jmedia) <= 1.5.4 - Authenticated Arbitrary File Upload (RCE), SSRF and Stored XSS

JMedia (ThemeXpert Joomla Media Manager) versions 1.0 to 1.5.4 are affected by an authenticated arbitrary file upload leading to RCE (CVE-2026-60032, CVSS 9.4 Critical - executable/polyglot uploads, chmod did not strip execute bits), an SSRF via remote-URL download (CVE-2026-60033), and a stored XSS via unsanitised SVG upload (CVE-2026-60034). Fixed in JMedia 1.5.5. JMedia also ships bundled inside Quix Page Builder, where the same media-manager flaws were fixed in Quix 6.2.1/6.2.2, so sites running Quix below 6.2.2 are already flagged by the com_quix rule. Update JMedia to 1.5.5 or later (or Quix to 6.2.2+).

Affected versions: ≤ 1.5.4

Official record: cve.org · NVD

Every connected Joomla site is checked against this rule on each audit, and flagged if it runs an affected version.

Running an affected version on a site you manage?

A free audit tells you which of your Joomla and WordPress sites run an affected version, which are out of date, and which have not been backed up. No card required. If a site is already compromised, fix.mysites.guru is a single fixed fee per incident, usually resolved the same day.
