YouTube Gallery (com_youtubegallery) below 5.7.3 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection
YouTube Gallery by JoomlaBoat.com (formerly published under Ivan Komlev and Design Compass corp) versions 1.0.0 to 5.7.2 contain an SQL injection vulnerability in the video search and sorting functionality. No authentication is required: any visitor can inject SQL into read queries, allowing an attacker to extract data from the database, including user accounts and password hashes (CVSS 4.0 9.3 Critical, CWE-89). Fixed in 5.7.3. There is no fix for the old 4.x free line, so sites on 4.x must move to 5.7.3 or later. If you cannot update immediately, disable or uninstall the component and its content plugin and module until you can.
